The brigade, part of the National Guard’s 1st Azov Corps, released a three-minute video documenting Russian infantry movements, Ukrainian drone operations, and repeated attempts to advance through the same contested area.
The footage and accompanying account describe Russian soldiers attempting to conceal themselves among the bodies of dead servicemen, apparently to avoid being identified and targeted by Ukrainian drone operators.
Ukrainian defenders also reported a lack of mutual assistance among Russian troops during the assaults, with wounded or fallen personnel reportedly left behind as other soldiers continued their movements.

According to the brigade, approximately nine out of ten Russian assault troops attempting to cross the route fail to reach their intended destination. The figure was provided by the Ukrainian unit and has not been independently verified.
The Russian military has repeatedly deployed small infantry groups along the same approach toward Dobropillia, attempting to infiltrate Ukrainian positions and establish concentrations of personnel in nearby tree lines.
Earlier, on October 14, Ukrainian forces reported recapturing 277 square kilometers of territory and liberating 16 settlements in the Donetsk region during Operation Vivaldi, disrupting Russian plans to encircle Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.
