Satellite imagery has confirmed the complete destruction of a Russian Federal Security Service compound at Henicheska Hirka on Arabatska Spit following a Ukrainian drone strike on May 17.

The photographs were published by the OSINT community Dnipro OSINT, as reported by Militarnyi. The images show at least eight buildings on the compound's grounds fully destroyed.

Ukrainian drones struck the facility by targeting rooftops and flying directly into windows, triggering a large-scale fire across the site.

On the day of the strike, NASA's FIRMS satellite monitoring service  recorded elevated thermal signatures at the location, and local residents reported both the drone raid and the resulting blaze.

The operation was conducted by fighters of the Security Service of Ukraine's Special Operations Center "A," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed.

Ukrainian forces also struck a Pantsir-S1 self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun system at the compound during the same attack.

The Arabatska Spit strike was part of an expanding operational tempo by the SBU's Special Operations Center "A," which, days later, carried its reach deep into Russian territory.

On May 24, drones operated by the unit struck the Vtorovo linear production and dispatching station in Russia's Vladimir region, igniting an 800-square-meter blaze at a facility that pumps aviation fuel and diesel to major oil depots near Moscow and to Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, and Vnukovo airports.
