Ukraine Confirms Successful Hits on Bryansk Oil Depot and Command Posts Across Occupied Territories

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that Ukrainian defense forces successfully targeted the Belets oil depot in Russia's Bryansk region, multiple ammunition depots, and military command installations during overnight operations on May 25.
Concurrently, an ammunition storage facility in occupied Crimea, an ammunition depot near Novoyanysol, and a field artillery depot near Kremenivka in the Donetsk region were hit.

Ukrainian forces also struck a logistics warehouse near Dokuchaievsk, a military communications node in Ivanivka in the Donetsk region, and an artillery unit command platoon in Troitske within the Zaporizhzhia region.
This followed an earlier overnight operation on May 24, where Ukrainian drones struck the Vtorovo linear production and dispatch station in Russia's Vladimir region, a critical facility pumping fuel to major oil depots near Moscow and supplying Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, and Vnukovo airports.
These coordinated operations mark a continuing effort to disrupt the logistical and economic infrastructure supporting Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
According to military statements, the domestic targets within Russia and the positions across occupied Ukrainian territories are directly linked to the supply networks of the Russian military. The Vtorovo station in the Vladimir region functions as an essential fuel transmission node, rerouting petroleum products to the primary transport and defense hubs surrounding the Russian capital.

The Ukrainian military highlighted the strategic significance of hitting these specific supply networks to degrade the operational capabilities of frontline Russian units.
The targeting of regional ammunition dumps and command communications nodes in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions occurred alongside the deeper strikes against energy nodes inside the Russian Federation.
“The defense forces continue to take effective measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian army, in particular its logistical capabilities, and to force the invaders to stop their aggressive war against Ukraine,” a statement from the Ukrainian General Staff said.
Оn May 24, 2026, drones from the Security Service of Ukraine's (SBU) Alpha Special Operations Center struck the Vtorovo linear production and dispatching station in Russia’s Vladimir region, triggering a massive blaze that covered 800 square meters.
The targeted facility served as a critical node in Russia’s primary fuel pipeline network, pumping diesel and aviation fuel from central Russian refineries to export ports and major domestic consumers.
Because the site directly supplied large oil depots around Moscow as well as the Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, and Vnukovo airports, the SBU framed the strike as part of a sustained effort to degrade the military and economic potential underpinning Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
