The strike targeted a training facility used by Russia’s 18th Combined Arms Army in the settlement of Khorly, located in the Russian-occupied part of the Kherson region.

In addition to the drone operator training center, Ukrainian special forces destroyed a facility housing Russian military officers, including instructors responsible for training sabotage groups operating under the 18th Combined Arms Army.

HUR reported that both Russian military facilities were completely destroyed as a result of the operation, disrupting the Russian military’s training activities and operational plans in the area.

Footage released by Ukrainian intelligence shows the moments the Russian military facilities were struck. However, HUR did not disclose details regarding potential Russian personnel casualties resulting from the operation.

The reported destruction of the training center comes amid continued Ukrainian strikes targeting Russian military infrastructure, including a separate operation against an airfield in Russia’s Voronezh region.

On October 15, Ukraine’s Navy reported that a Neptune missile strike on the Borisoglebsk military airfield had destroyed six Russian Su-34M fighter-bombers, aircraft used by Moscow to conduct guided-bomb attacks against Ukrainian military positions and frontline settlements.

According to the Ukrainian Navy, the strike was carried out using a Neptune coastal missile system and also destroyed ground equipment supporting flight operations at the airfield.

The attack reportedly triggered secondary explosions and a fire at the military facility.
