According to Exilenova+, the strike collapsed multiple bridge spans near the village of Kremenivka in Volnovakha district, leaving the crossing unusable for vehicle traffic.

The images published by Exilenova+ show significant structural damage, including the collapse of several sections across both traffic lanes and damage to the bridge’s supporting pillars.

The bridge crosses the Malyi Kalchyk River and forms part of the highway linking occupied Donetsk with Mariupol, a route used by Russian forces to move personnel, military equipment, ammunition, and other supplies.

On July 1, Ukraine’s General Staff confirmed that Ukrainian forces had struck several Russian logistics crossings in occupied eastern Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, the operation targeted the road bridge over the Malyi Kalchyk River near Hranitne in Donetsk region, a railway bridge over the Tepla River near Nyzhnioteple in occupied Luhansk region, and a logistics crossing near Novoocheretuvate in Donetsk region.

The General Staff stated that Russian forces use these crossings to transport personnel, weapons, ammunition, and other military supplies. It did not provide additional details regarding the weapons used or the extent of the damage at the other locations.

The reported bridge strikes are part of Ukraine’s continued campaign to disrupt Russian military logistics in temporarily occupied territories by targeting transportation infrastructure supporting frontline operations.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has previously outlined the “Logistic Lockdown” programme, a campaign of medium-range strikes aimed at disrupting Russian supply chains behind the front line.

The initiative focuses on targeting supply routes, fuel facilities, ammunition depots, command posts, and major transport corridors linking temporarily occupied Crimea with Russian-controlled territory in southern Ukraine.
