Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck several important Russian military targets on June 29 and overnight into June 30, including two bridges used by Russian forces to move troops, weapons, ammunition, and supplies, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on June 30.

According to the General Staff, Ukrainian units hit a road bridge near Azovske in Zaporizhzhia region and a railway bridge near the settlement of Ichki in temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea.

Both bridges were being used by Russian forces to transfer personnel, weapons, ammunition, and logistical supplies.

The scale of damage is still being assessed, Ukraine’s military said.

Ukrainian forces also struck several Russian UAV command posts. The reported targets were located near Vesela Lopan in Russia’s Belgorod region, Komar in Donetsk region, and Myrne, Luhove, and Skelky in Zaporizhzhia region.

In addition, Ukraine hit a Russian command and observation post near Staromlynivka in Donetsk region.

The General Staff said the strikes were carried out as part of broader efforts to reduce Russia’s military and economic capacity to continue its war of aggression against Ukraine.

Later, the 413th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment “Raid” reported that on the night of June 29, it had delivered strikes against four electrical substations in the Kurmanske and Dzhankoi districts of occupied Crimea, as well as in Dzhankoi itself.

From these substations, Russia supplies power to military facilities and other infrastructure of military purpose, the operation of which requires significant volumes of electricity.

The latest attacks fit into Ukraine’s wider campaign against Russian logistics, command networks, UAV control infrastructure, and supply routes across occupied territories and inside Russia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy officially approved a 40-day strategic influence operation by the Security Service of Ukraine aimed at pressuring Russia to conclude the war.

One of the latest strikes was made on June 28 and during the night of June 29, hitting facilities both in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and in Russia’s regions.

Ukrainian forces struck an automobile bridge in the area of Novoazovsk in the Donetsk region, as well as two railway bridges in the Luhansk region.

These logistical routes were actively used by Russian forces for the transfer of personnel, weapons, ammunition, and military equipment. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.

In addition, a Russian logistics warehouse was hit in the area of Novosvitlivka in the Luhansk region.

Ukrainian forces also targeted three drone command posts in the areas of Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region, Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, and Tetkino in Russia’s Kursk region.

Moreover, in the area of Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk region, a command post of a Russian electronic warfare unit was struck.
