Ukraine Identifies 500 Targets in Belarus for Potential Strikes if Lukashenko Enters War

Ukraine has identified 500 targets on the territory of Belarus to strike if Alexander Lukashenko decides to directly enter the war. The statement was made on Tuesday, May 26, by Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert "Madyar" Brovdi.
The commander also called on Ukrainian citizens to remain calm, maintain confidence in the defense forces, and always react to air raid alerts.

"To the Minsk gauleiter Lukashesku: a barking dog does not bite. A bird of prey is not like that. The first 500 targets are already on the pencil. Free and very practical advice: do not get in Ukraine's eyes," Brovdi wrote in his social media post.
The warning follows observable activity near the Ukrainian-Belarusian border detected in early May. Alexander Lukashenko previously claimed that his government planned a targeted mobilization of specific military units to prepare for possible combat operations.
He stated that while Belarus remains focused on peace, its military must be prepared for war if necessary.
On May 4, Ukrainian State Border Guard Service spokesperson Andrii Demchenko stated that Belarus continues to build military training grounds and logistical networks.
According to Demchenko, these facilities could be utilized by Russia at any given moment. However, the current size of the Russian military deployment inside Belarus remains insufficient to launch a new offensive against Ukraine.

The border security developments prompted political action earlier in the month. On May 15, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that he instructed the defense forces and state security agencies to create a comprehensive response plan to address potential threats emerging from Belarus.
Previously, Belarusian officials accused Ukraine of carrying out repeated drone incursions and attempting to strike border infrastructure, while Ukrainian authorities dismissed the claims as a provocation aligned with Russian interests.
According to the Belarusian state news agency BELTA, Belarusian Security Council State Secretary Alexander Volfovich stated that Belarusian air defenses had recorded regular crossings of the border by Ukrainian combat drones, claiming they detected 116 UAVs over a single week.
However, Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service spokesperson Andrii Demchenko strongly rejected the accusations, calling the statements absurd and describing them as another attempt by Belarus to shift responsibility onto Ukraine.
