In the Donetsk area, Ukrainian forces hit a site used by Russian troops to store, prepare, and launch attack drones. According to the statement, systematic strikes on such facilities are intended to reduce Russia’s ability to deploy attack UAVs and use them against Ukrainian civilian infrastructure.

Ukrainian forces also struck a Russian communications hub in the Donetsk area.

In the temporarily occupied Berdiansk area of Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian troops targeted a Russian command post and a drone storage facility. A Russian military repair unit was also hit near Liubymivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In addition, Ukrainian forces carried out strikes against concentrations of Russian personnel near Komysh-Zoria in the Zaporizhzhia region, Uspenka in the Luhansk region, and Donetsk.

The latest operations follow a Ukrainian long-range drone strike against Russia’s Khanskaya military airfield in the Republic of Adygea overnight on October 4. According to Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU), the attack struck a Russian Su-35 multirole fighter and a Su-34 fighter-bomber.

The SBU said the operation was carried out using long-range drones operated by its Alpha Special Operations Center. The Khanskaya airfield is located approximately 500 kilometers from Ukrainian-controlled territory.
