Ukrainian defense company TENCORE has partnered with Canada’s Dominion Dynamics to produce its TerMIT unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) in Canada, starting in 2027, Militarnyi reported on October 14.

The companies signed a memorandum of understanding at the AUSA 2026 international defense exhibition in Washington, DC, with plans to supply these robotic systems to both Ukrainian forces and NATO partners.

Under the partnership, TENCORE will transfer technology and train Canadian specialists to enable full-scale serial production, scheduled to begin in 2027.

In turn, Dominion Dynamics will integrate its AuraNet command, control, and navigation hardware-software suite into the platform. The Canadian firm will also develop a specialized modification of TerMIT tailored for operations in extreme Arctic conditions.

“Partnership with Canada provides us with a scalable manufacturing base, resilient supply chains, and a reliable energy grid to launch this cycle alongside allies who require combat-proven solutions,” said Roman Tkachenko, co-founder of TENCORE, Militarnyi reported.

The base version of the TerMIT UGV is designed for battlefield cargo transport. It features an operational range of up to 40 km, speeds reaching 15 km/h, and ballistic protection designed to maintain logistical support under fire.

On July 9, 2026, building on Ukraine's rapid integration of robotic systems on the frontline, defense company TENCORE introduced AI KIT—an artificial intelligence software suite designed to enhance the autonomy of its TerMIT unmanned ground vehicles.

The technology aimed to reduce operator strain and improve combat efficiency by removing the need for constant manual control. The system featured a hands-free navigation mode, an automatic 180-degree return function in signal-loss zones, and predefined failsafes to keep the platform operating safely under heavy electronic jamming.
