The 3rd Separate Special Operations Brigade named after Prince Sviatoslav the Brave released footage showing operators from its Hornet unit using medium-range strike drones to target heavy trucks transporting supplies for Russian forces.
Russian forces refer to the highway as the Novorossiya route, according to Army Inform.
The footage shows Ukrainian drones pursuing moving trucks along the highway before striking them in a series of attacks.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces have also used drones to target Russian artillery positions in the Kupiansk direction, demonstrating the use of unmanned systems against different types of military targets.
Troops from the 77th Separate Airmobile Naddniprianska Brigade of the 7th Air Assault Corps identified and destroyed a camouflaged Russian D-30 howitzer using an unmanned aerial vehicle.
According to the unit, the operation demonstrates how Ukrainian artillery personnel are increasingly integrating unmanned technologies into combat operations, combining drones with conventional artillery systems to identify and engage Russian targets.

The strikes against Russian transport vehicles and artillery positions come alongside broader Ukrainian operations targeting Russian military infrastructure and logistics across several regions.
On October 20, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian forces had struck a Russian command post, a military repair unit, logistics depots, and concentrations of Russian troops.
The attacks were carried out on October 19 and overnight into October 20, targeting Russian military positions in the Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions.
Among the reported targets was a Russian command post near Fedorivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
