The monitoring community Exilenova+ published video footage of the strikes, and OSINT analysts from CyberBoroshno reported that 6 missiles hit the parking facility. GEOINT analysis by Militarnyi verified the approximate locations of the impacts.
Russian forces frequently utilize such locations for their own needs due to their large size and protected underground areas. According to Exilenova+, one of the targeted facilities may have housed the command post of Russia's 51st Combined Arms Army.
This army was formed by Russian forces in the summer of 2024 as part of a large-scale reorganization and integration of occupational forces during Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

The foundation for creating the 51st Combined Arms Army was the former 1st Army Corps of the so-called "DPR." It incorporated the 1st, 5th, 9th, 110th, 114th, and 132nd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades, along with the 14th "Kalmius" Artillery Brigade.
On April 14, 2026, Ukraine’s Defense Forces executed targeted strikes against Russian unmanned aerial vehicle storage facilities near Donetsk Airport using French SCALP cruise missiles, GBU-39 precision-guided bombs, and strike drones.
The Ukrainian Air Force conducted the operation to weaken Russia’s offensive capabilities, successfully hitting attack UAV warehouses as well as logistics nodes and ammunition depots near Azovske, Urzuf, and Kulykivske.
