According to the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine on May 12, the strikes targeted ammunition depots, logistics facilities, command positions, repair sites, and drone-related infrastructure in operations conducted before May 5.
The SSO stated that drone operators struck Russian ammunition storage facilities in Sartana near occupied Mariupol in the Donetsk region. In Boikivske, Ukrainian forces reportedly hit a logistics hub and a material-technical support warehouse used by Russian units.
According to the SSO, Ukrainian drones also targeted a Russian repair base in occupied Mykolaivka in the Donetsk region and struck a command-and-observation post in Sviatotroitske in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Additional strikes were reported in Rovenky in the occupied Luhansk region, where Ukrainian forces targeted what the SSO described as a temporary deployment site for Russian mechanics. In Kulikivske, Zaporizhzhia region, drones reportedly hit a Russian training ground.
The SSO also reported a strike on a Russian drone unit deployment site in Nova Tavolzhanka in Russia’s Belgorod region.
In a statement published on its official Telegram channel, the SSO said: “Defeating and destroying the enemy’s arsenals, warehouses, repair bases and logistics reduces its combat capability.”

The operations involved so-called middle-strike drone systems, a category used by Ukrainian forces for medium-range precision strike missions against rear-area targets. The SSO did not disclose the exact drone models used in the attacks or provide details on battle damage assessments.
Earlier, Ukrainian FP-2 strike drones operated by the Unmanned Systems Forces struck Russian air defense assets in the occupied Donetsk region, including a PRV-16 “Nadezhnost” radar height finder and a P-18 early warning radar, alongside fuel and ammunition storage facilities.
