US Senator Lindsey Graham visited the production facilities of Ukrainian drone manufacturer SkyFall during his trip to Ukraine, where he viewed the company’s combat drone lineup and said closer US-Ukrainian cooperation in unmanned technologies would be in America’s interest, according to a statement released by SkyFall on July 11.

During the visit, Graham toured SkyFall’s research, development, and manufacturing facilities, where the company showcased several of its unmanned systems currently used by Ukrainian forces, as well as new technologies that have not yet entered operational service.

Graham was shown the production of the Vampire heavy bomber drone—widely known on the battlefield by its Russian nickname “Baba Yaga"—alongside Shrike FPV drones in multiple configurations and the P1-SUN interceptor drone designed to counter Russian Shahed attack drones.

SkyFall representatives also presented upcoming drone technologies expected to be deployed on the battlefield in the future, though the company did not disclose technical details.

Speaking after the visit, Graham said the United States should expand cooperation with Ukraine in the field of unmanned systems.

“I think it would be a huge mistake for America not to work with Ukraine in the drone space. They are willing to help us because we were willing to support Ukraine in its darkest times.”

The senator also praised the company’s production capabilities after touring the facility.

“Today I visited a state-of-the-art enterprise with enormous production capacity that manufactures technologies far more advanced than anyone else on the planet. Necessity is the mother of all invention.”

The visit also included a presentation of SkyFall Academy, the company’s training center for drone pilots, technicians, and instructors. According to SkyFall, representatives of the company and the US delegation discussed potential areas of cooperation in defense innovation and future technological partnerships.

SkyFall is a Ukrainian defense technology company that develops and manufactures unmanned aerial systems, communication equipment, and drone components. Its best-known products include the Vampire heavy bomber drone, Shrike FPV drones, and the P1-SUN interceptor designed to engage Shahed-type attack drones.

Earlier, SkyFall signed a strategic partnership with Airbus Defence and Space to jointly develop next-generation air defense technologies. The agreement focuses on integrating SkyFall’s combat-proven P1-SUN interceptor drones with Airbus’ Air C2 airspace management system to strengthen Ukraine’s and Europe’s defenses against drone and missile threats.
