Crimea Enforces Emergency Power and Fuel Rationing After Ukrainian Strikes Hit Kerch Oil Hub

Temporarily occupied Crimea is facing severe water and electricity disruptions following an overnight Ukrainian strike on June 21 that hit the TES-Terminal-1 oil facility and multiple military targets in Kerch.
In response to these network failures, the occupation authorities began enforcing strict rolling blackouts on June 22 across key areas of the peninsula, including Sevastopol, Alushta, Sudak, and the Kurmansky, Yevpatoriysky, and Perekopsky districts, according to Suspilne Crimea.

The occupation energy enterprise Krymenergo had warned residents of the peninsula about upcoming power supply limitations on June 21.
"In connection with accidents at the power grid facilities of the Republic of Crimea, schedules for limiting the electric energy consumption mode are being introduced in the regions of the peninsula. Information about the schedules for limiting the consumption mode will be posted on the official pages of administrations and municipalities, as well as on the official website of the enterprise," the occupation energy officials stated.
In the Yevpatoriysky district, the power grid will operate under a strict rotating schedule, leaving residents with 3 hours without electricity followed by 3 hours with power.
For the Perekopsky district and Alushta, a different alternating schedule has been established. On odd-numbered days, electricity will be cut from 00:00 to 03:00, then from 06:00 to 09:00, continuing in this pattern.
On even-numbered days, the schedule reverses, cutting power from 03:00 to 06:00 and repeating every three hours.

In Sudak and the Kurmansky district, the occupation officials promised that evening power cuts would not exceed 3 hours.
Meanwhile, the occupation governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, announced that temporary power outages could impact areas outside the city center due to severe overloads on the external electrical grids.
These widespread measures follow an earlier statement by Krymenergo on June 21, which claimed that "damage to the electrical networks" had caused partial blackouts for consumers in the Northwestern, Central, and South Coast energy districts.
Russian-installed authorities in temporarily occupied Crimea suspended fuel sales at gas stations across the peninsula following a wave of Ukrainian drone strikes that targeted fuel and logistics infrastructure.
Fuel distribution was restricted to state services responsible for maintaining critical operations and security, according to statements issued by occupation officials on June 21.
Sergey Aksyonov, the Russian-appointed head of Crimea, announced that fuel sales at filling stations would stop from 09:00 local time for both cash and voucher-based purchases, adding that fuel would only be provided to government services that ensured the peninsula’s vital functions and security.
