Apple Taps Ukrainian Director Tanu Muiño for iPhone 18 Pro Campaign

Ukrainian director Tanu Muiño has directed “Night Moves,” a new promotional video for Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro, highlighting the smartphone camera’s capabilities in challenging lighting conditions.

According to the Apple’s post on Instagram, the project also brought together other Ukrainian creatives, including cinematographer Mykyta Kuzmenko and dancer Kateryna Bysheva, who appears in the video.

The commercial focuses on nighttime visuals and showcases the iPhone 18 Pro’s camera performance in low-light environments.

DANCE… by American singer Slayyyter serves as the soundtrack for the campaign.

The campaign adds to Muiño’s extensive portfolio of collaborations with major international artists. She has directed music videos for Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, BTS, Cardi B, Harry Styles, The Weeknd, Jennifer Lopez, Sam Smith, and others.

In 2025, Muiño was named Best Director of the Year at the Hollywood Music Video Awards for Lady Gaga’s “Disease,” which also received the award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling. She also created the Eurovision 2024 performance for Ukrainian artists alyona alyona and Jerry Heil.

The director’s latest project comes as Ukrainian creatives continue to collaborate with major international brands. French fashion house Dior has unveiled the first teaser for its cruise collection show, directed and photographed by Ukrainian sisters Tanya and Zhenia Posternak.
