British singer Harry Styles filmed the music video for his song Coming Up Roses, released on October 26, at the Ukrainian National Home in Jersey City, New Jersey.

The song appears on Styles’ fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., released in March 2026.
Styles’ production team acknowledged the Ukrainian National Home’s contribution to the project, including a special message of thanks to the venue in the music video’s closing credits.
The Ukrainian National Home, which opened in September 1918, has served as a cultural and community center for Ukrainian Americans in Jersey City for more than a century.
The nonprofit organization is dedicated to preserving and promoting Ukrainian cultural traditions through artistic events, community gatherings, and outreach initiatives. It also provides a space for the Ukrainian diaspora to maintain its cultural heritage while fostering connections with Jersey City’s diverse local community.
The music video is not Styles’ first connection to Ukraine, as the British singer has previously expressed solidarity with the country by displaying its blue-and-yellow flag during his concerts.
In the summer of 2023, Styles took a Ukrainian flag from a fan during a concert in Warsaw, Poland, and raised it onstage during his performance. Videos showing the singer dressed in blue and yellow while holding the Ukrainian flag quickly circulated on social media, drawing widespread attention from Ukrainian fans.
The Warsaw performance followed a similar gesture earlier that year, when Styles waved a Ukrainian flag during a concert in the United States, demonstrating his support for Ukraine amid Russia’s ongoing full-scale invasion.

Beyond these public displays of solidarity, Styles has also worked with Ukrainian creatives, including music video director Tanu Muiño, who directed two of his music videos.
Their first collaboration was the 2022 hit As It Was, which won Best Pop Video at the MTV Video Music Awards and surpassed one billion views. Filming in London coincided with the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
Styles and Muiño later reunited for the music video for Daylight, released in July 2023, marking their second collaboration.
Meanwhile, other prominent British musicians have also contributed to initiatives supporting Ukrainians affected by the war.
Former Beatles member Paul McCartney recently provided a lyric from his 1973 song Band on the Run as the inspiration for a charity art exhibition and auction featuring original works by more than 60 contemporary artists. Proceeds from the initiative will support children affected by armed conflicts, including those in Ukraine.
According to The Art Newspaper on October 8, McCartney selected the line “Well the rain exploded with a mighty crash as we fell into the sun” from Band on the Run, the title track of the 1973 album released by McCartney and his band Wings.
