“One Step Closer to Ukraine's First Grammy”: Ukrainian Music Producer Ivan Klymenko Joins Recording Academy

Ivan Klymenko, co-founder of the Ukrainian music label ENKO, has become a member of the Recording Academy, the organization that presents the annual Grammy Awards.
In its post on Instagram on July 14, the label said Klymenko's appointment reflects the growing presence of Ukrainian music professionals within leading international institutions.

“The more Ukrainian professionals join the work of the world’s leading music institutions, the more actively Ukraine's music industry becomes integrated into the global professional community, and the more visible its voice and influence become internationally,” ENKO said.
Klymenko also confirmed the news in a post on Instagram, describing the membership as an important milestone.

“For me, this is a great honor. And I feel that today I have taken another small step closer to my big dream—that one of Ukraine's artists will receive the country's first Grammy statuette,” he wrote.
He added that he would continue working to promote Ukrainian music internationally.

Ivan Klymenko is a Ukrainian music producer, composer, and songwriter. Klymenko co-produced and co-wrote Stefania for Kalush Orchestra, which won the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2022. He also co-produced and co-wrote Teresa & Maria for Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil, which finished third at the ESC 2024.

Several days earlier, it was announced that Ukrainian Crimean Tatar jazz musician, composer, and producer Usein Bekirov has joined the Recording Academy.
He said becoming a member of the Recording Academy, which brings together music industry professionals and determines the Grammy Award recipients, was a significant honor. Bekirov added that the membership would motivate him to continue creating music, develop professionally, and represent Ukraine on the international stage.
Additionally, the musician is also a part of Ukrainian music label ENKO.
