Under the agreement, the companies plan to jointly develop new unmanned solutions, accelerate their development, and establish industrial-scale production in the Benelux countries.

The partnership is intended to combine Ukraine’s battlefield experience with the technological and industrial capabilities of European partners, while expanding production capacity in Europe.

“This partnership will help accelerate innovation and expand production capacity in Europe,” TAF Industries CEO Volodymyr Zinovskyi said.

TAF Industries is participating in the “Build with Ukraine” initiative, which focuses on developing Ukrainian defense production in partner countries, according to Militarnyi. The cooperation with LUXUAV will form part of this effort, with the companies seeking to establish joint manufacturing and technological capabilities in Europe.

LUXUAV is developing a European UAV ecosystem encompassing communications systems, artificial intelligence-powered software, and manufacturing capabilities, the outlet reported.

TAF Industries, meanwhile, develops and manufactures strike and reconnaissance UAVs, interceptor drones, fiber-optic drones, unmanned ground systems, and AI-based technologies.

The agreement comes as Ukrainian defense companies increasingly cooperate with European partners on integrating battlefield-tested technologies into European defense systems. Ukrainian defense company DevDroid, for instance, recently tested its combat unmanned ground vehicles with the Italian Army, assessing their interoperability with Italian systems and integration into a NATO tactical network.

During an intensive training exercise, DevDroid demonstrated its Droid TW 7.62 and heavier Droid TW 12.7 platforms alongside Italian troops, the company said in a press release shared with UNITED24 Media on October 1.
