Belarus has reportedly transferred dozens of railcars loaded with military equipment to Russia’s central tank reserve base, signaling deepening logistical cooperation between the two militaries.

According to a quarterly report by the Belarusian Railway Workers Community, analyzed movements between April 1 and September 30, 2025, included the shipment of 31 flatbed wagons carrying military vehicles from Barysaw railway station in Belarus to the 1311th Central Tank Reserve Base of the Russian Armed Forces.

The shipment originated from the 814th Technical Support Center under the Belarusian Ministry of Defense.

A total of 32 cars formed the train, including one unspecified auxiliary wagon. Analysts noted that the direction and destination of the convoy point to the direct provision of stored Belarusian equipment for Russian military needs.

In a separate shipment documented in the same report, a military train departed from Polatsk station, carrying equipment from the 377th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of the Belarusian Air and Air Defense Forces.

That convoy, consisting of 31 flatbeds loaded with military hardware and one additional wagon with parts, was headed for Onokhoy station on Russia’s East Siberian Railway.

The equipment is believed to include components of air defense missile systems. Analysts suggest this transfer was aimed at conducting major repairs and servicing at Russian defense industry facilities.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia is attempting to bypass Ukraine’s air defense systems by rerouting Shahed attack drones through Belarusian territory, with technical support from Belarus. Zelenskyy noted that Russian forces are adapting flight paths after identifying Ukraine’s interceptor lines, calling the Belarusian role a serious issue that is being addressed at the level of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief staff.
