A Russian FPV-drone struck the vehicle of Kherson’s Chief Rabbi, Yosef Wolf, while he, his wife, and their young daughter were inside, according to the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Moshe Azman on July 17.

“The drone flew into the car at a very high speed! Thank G-d they were not hurt. This is a very great miracle!” Azman wrote after speaking to Wolf by phone.

The attack occurred in the morning of July 17, and while the vehicle sustained damage, the family was unscathed. No further details were immediately available regarding the type of drone or the specific location of the strike within Kherson.

Earlier, a Russian drone strike killed a one-year-old boy in the village of Pravdyne, Kherson region.

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that the child and a 64-year-old woman were attacked while outside in the courtyard of a residential building. The child died at the scene from injuries sustained in the explosion.
