With these latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses now surpass 1.3 million since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Russian losses, sustained during the day:

Ukrainian defenders continue to inflict significant damage on the Russian military’s personnel and equipment. The liquidated losses for the past day include:

  • Personnel: ~1,110 troops

  • Artillery Systems: 85

  • Drones (UAVs): 2,387

  • Vehicles and Fuel Tanks: 199

  • Cruise Missiles: 26

  • Armored Combat Vehicles (APVs): 4

  • MLRS: 3

  • Tanks: 2

Operational situation by sector

The Russian army utilized an intense combination of strikes over the last 24 hours, including 3 missile strikes (37 missiles), 80 airstrikes (260 KABs), and a staggering 10,491 suicide drone launches. Ukrainian positions were shelled over 3,850 times.

The “Hottest” Directions included:

  • Pokrovsk Sector: Remained the most volatile area of the front. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 35 assault actions near settlements, including Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, and Novooleksandrivka.

  • Kostiantynivka Sector: Aggressors conducted 23 attacks targeting regions toward Sofiivka, Stepnivka, and Kostiantynivka.

  • Guliaipole Sector: Saw a significant spike in activity with 16 enemy attacks repelled by Ukrainian forces.

  • Kupiansk Sector: The enemy launched 8 attacks focused on the direction of Kivsharivka and Novoplatonivka.

Other key areas:

  • Slovyansk: 5 attempts to advance were halted near Rai-Oleksandrivka and Zvanivka.

  • Oleksandrivka: 8 attacks were recorded near Stepove and Oleksandrohrad.

  • Prydniprovskyi: Russian forces attempted 5 unsuccessful assaults near the Antonivskyi Bridge and Hola Prystan.

Air and artillery strikes

The Ukrainian Air Force successfully targeted three areas of concentrated enemy personnel and equipment over the past day. Meanwhile, Russian airstrikes heavily impacted the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions, dropping hundreds of guided aerial bombs (KABs) on civilian and military infrastructure.

Ukrainian forces remain in a state of high readiness, systematically destroying the Russian logistical chains and manpower across all active sectors, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote.

The high attrition rate reported today, follows a record-breaking March for the Russian military, which sustained over 35,000 confirmed casualties—the highest monthly total since the full-scale invasion began. According to reports, nearly 34,000 of these losses were inflicted by specialized drone units, including the “Birds of Madyar” and CSO “A.”

This shift toward precision drone warfare also resulted in the destruction of 274 Russian air defense systems in a single month, severely degrading Moscow’s ability to shield its logistical hubs and artillery positions as it attempts to ramp up offensive operations.
