Danish Foreign Minister: Russia’s Actions Are Strengthening Our Commitment to Ukraine’s Defense

During a UN Security Council meeting, Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen warned that Russia’s violations of NATO airspace are an attempt to undermine Europe’s security architecture, Ukrinform correspondent reported on September 23.
“Russian provocations must cease immediately. We call on Russia to step back and choose a different path,” he said
“We will not allow the European security architecture to be broken, and we will not allow Russia to spread instability wherever it pleases,” Rasmussen continued.

He believes these provocative actions are designed to intimidate countries and weaken their support for Ukraine, testing Western resolve.
Rasmussen emphasized that Denmark and its allies will not be deterred by Russian provocations, whether in Ukraine, the Baltic, or the Black Sea. On the contrary, such actions will only strengthen their determination to continue supporting Ukraine despite the threats, Ukrinform writes.
Previously, authorities in Denmark and Norway reported major drone incidents in Copenhagen and Oslo, according to Danish police cited by Reuters and Norwegian broadcaster NRK, as reported by Aftonbladet.
All flights at Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup), Denmark’s largest airport, were suspended after multiple drones were spotted nearby.
