Donald Trump Claims Victory in US Presidential Election
Donald Trump declared himself a winner in the US Presidential election during a rally with his supporters in Florida, Sky News reported on November 6.
“I would like to thank the American people for the extraordinary honor of electing me as their 47th president. I will fight for you every day. I will not rest until there is a strong, prosperous America for us and for your children. This will be America’s golden era,” he said.
“We took the Senate back. It also looks like we’re going to control the House of Representatives”, added Trump.
“We’re going to fix America, We’re going to fix everything. Our country needs help, We have overcome problems that no one thought we could overcome,” he said.
Earlier, Decision Desk HQ (DDHQ) reported that Donald Trump secured victories in Pennsylvania and Alaska, bringing him to the minimum 270 electoral votes needed to claim the presidency, according to a report by The Hill on November 6.
This projection comes even as votes remain uncounted in several states where Trump is expected to win additional electoral votes.
Fox News analysts also project a Trump victory, predicting that an anticipated win in Wisconsin will confirm his path to re-election.
Additionally, The NYT reported that Trump leads in key swing states with a 95% chance of victory.
