“In one of the districts, several fuel tanks were slightly damaged as a result of the fall of a downed UAV. No ignition occurred,” Alexander Gusev said.
He added that air-defense units in the Russian sky over Voronezh and two nearby districts allegedly detected and destroyed four drones during the night. The regional official did not specify which fuel facility had been targeted.

In the neighboring Tambov region, Ukrainian strike drones also hit a fuel depot, setting off a fire.
Governor Yevgeny Pervyshov claimed the blaze was caused by “the fall of drone fragments,” echoing the narrative from Voronezh.
“Fire crews and law enforcement arrived at the site quickly. All necessary forces and resources have been deployed,” the regional administration said.
Open-source analysts from Supernova+ reported that the attack struck the Nikiforovskaya fuel depot operated by Tambovnefteprodukt in the settlement of Dmitriyevka. Videos filmed by residents showing the fire spreading across the site circulated widely on social media.
Earlier, strike drones hit the Orelnefteprodukt oil depot in the Russian city of Livny overnight, igniting a large fire at the facility.
