Fires Rage After Russian Airstrike Hits Dnipropetrovsk Region, Killing Three People

Russian forces launched deadly attacks across Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, killing at least three civilians and injuring several more, according to Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, on July 18.

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported that eight people were injured as a result of a Russian airstrikes on the Dnipropetrovsk region.

“A man and a woman were killed in the Kamianske district,” Lysak said. The strike sparked a fire and caused damage to administrative buildings, a store, and several private homes, he added.

The overnight assault also targeted the Pavlohrad district, where Russia struck the Verbkivska and Bohdanivska communities. A 52-year-old man was killed, and two other civilians—aged 38 and 40—were wounded.

The Rozdory community in the Synelnykove district was also hit, resulting in a fire that destroyed and damaged several vehicles.

Earlier, a Russian FPV drone struck the vehicle of Kherson’s Chief Rabbi, Yosef Wolf, while he, his wife, and their young daughter were inside.
