On the morning of March 10, Russian forces used aerial bombs to target the city center.

One munition struck an apartment building directly, while two others landed near high-rise structures.

According to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Regional Military Administration, four people are confirmed dead. Authorities are still working to determine the final consequences of the strike.

The Donetsk Prosecutor’s Office has started a pre-trial investigation into the case. The proceedings are focused on war crimes under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Local official Vadym Lyakh provided further details on the victims.

“Thus, we have three dead from yesterday’s shelling. Among them is an 11-year-old child. Another 16 people, including a seven-year-old girl, were injured. Seven of them are in hospitals in Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. Two are in serious condition, and we are planning to send them to Dnipro. All others were treated as outpatients,” Lyakh stated.

Russian forces carried out an airstrike on the city of Sloviansk in the Donetsk region, killing two civilians—an 11-year-old girl and her mother.

Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, confirmed that 14 other people were injured, including a seven-year-old girl. The attack caused major damage to homes and civilian buildings, which regional officials described as an act of terror against peaceful citizens during Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

In the 24 hours before this strike, Russian forces shelled the Donetsk region 11 times. Along with the tragedy in Sloviansk, Russian drones and artillery also hit Kherson and Antonivka, injuring three more people.
