Previously, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska called on international partners to deliver a clear and effective response to the missile attacks on June 17.
“It is already 11:00 AM in Europe, and we are still waiting for our partners to react to last night’s Russian terror. So far, there has been no response. The United States is still asleep,” Zelenska posted on her official X account.
She stressed that Ukraine is not asking for sympathy but demanding real action. “Rescuers in Ukraine are currently dismantling the ruins of a residential high-rise destroyed by a Russian missile. It claimed at least 14 lives. We are not asking for sympathy—we are demanding a real, effective response,” she wrote.
Earlier, a large-scale overnight missile and drone attack on Kyiv claimed the lives of at least 24 people, including 62-year-old US citizen identified as Grendy Frederick Glenn, and left more than 134 others injured.
