Hungarian FM to Meet Ukrainian Counterpart in Brussels Amid NATO Talks

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó says he expects to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha in Brussels on April 4, after last week’s planned meeting was canceled.
I was meant to meet my Ukrainian colleague @andrii_sybiha last week, but unfortunately the meeting was cancelled on his side. We’re now planning to sit down tomorrow. Let’s see if it happens this time.

Sybiha and Szijjártó are in Brussels for a two-day meeting of NATO foreign ministers.
During the same meeting, the foreign ministers of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany stated that Russia has no interest in a genuine ceasefire in Ukraine and is merely stalling for time.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio took part for the first time in a NATO–Ukraine Council meeting, which Ukrainian officials described as productive and encouraging.
Additionally, on April 3, Sybiha reaffirmed Ukraine’s strong commitment to peace efforts in a meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
