Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed the law ratifying an agreement with the United States to establish the US-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund, the Ukrainian parliament announced on May 12.

The ratified agreement, listed as Law No. 4417-IX, formalizes a bilateral framework to launch the Fund, which aims to support the recovery of Ukraine’s war-damaged regions and boost investment in critical infrastructure and industrial sectors.

According to the official statement, ratification of the agreement enables the Fund to begin full operations. “It is not only about financial support, but also about building renewed trust with a strategic partner — the United States,” the announcement read.
