Macron’s Office Stresses Territorial Integrity as Key to Any Ukraine Peace Deal

France has stated that European countries believe any peace agreement to end the war instigated by Russia must include respect for Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
This was reported by European Pravda, citing a comment to AFP by the office of French President Emmanuel Macron.
The statement came in response to US Vice President JD Vance’s remarks suggesting that both Ukraine and Russia “would need to give up some of the land they currently control.”
“The territorial integrity of Ukraine and its European aspirations are non-negotiable demands for Europeans,” emphasized Macron’s office.
On April 23, the Ukrainian delegation, consisting of Andriy Yermak, Head of the President’s Office, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, arrived in London for talks with representatives from the United States, France, the UK, and Germany for ceasefire talks.
