More than 10 Shahed-type drones struck the city in a concentrated barrage that triggered over a dozen fires. One of the worst-hit sites was a four-story residential building completely engulfed in flames.
Three residents were rescued from the burning structure, and another six were evacuated.
“Russia carried out a massive attack on Odesa using strike drones. Over 10 impacts have been recorded, leading to large-scale fires,” SES reported.
During firefighting efforts at the four-story building, part of the structure collapsed on emergency crews, injuring three firefighters. All are reported to be in stable condition after receiving medical care.

Another serious blaze broke out in a 23-story apartment tower, where flames consumed the 18th, 19th, and 20th floors. SES evacuated 600 residents from the high-rise, including three people—two of them children—trapped in a blocked apartment.
In total, five more residential buildings and three vehicles caught fire across the city during the attack. Damage was also reported to Odesa’s railway infrastructure, including the contact network and sections of the rail bed.

According to Ukrainska Pravda, Russian forces targeted 11 locations across Odesa during the strike, damaging several apartment buildings, a high-rise, administrative facilities, a gas pipeline, and parts of the city’s critical transportation infrastructure.
Earlier, Russian troops carried out a large-scale attack on Kherson and its surrounding areas, killing one person and injuring at least 12 others. The strikes targeted both the city and regional settlements using a combination of drones and artillery.
