Earlier, Russia launched its largest drone and missile attack on Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion, deploying 267 strike drones and three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles. The assault targeted multiple regions, including Kryvyi Rih, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa, causing casualties and significant damage to civilian infrastructure.

Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 138 Shahed-type drones, while electronic warfare measures neutralized 119 decoy UAVs. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for increased air defense support from international partners, citing a surge in Russian aerial attacks, with nearly 1,150 drones and over 1,400 guided bombs launched in the past week.
