Unidentified drones have once again been spotted over 3 British air bases used by the United States Air Force, Sky News reported on November 26.

The air bases—RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk, and RAF Feltwell in Norfolk—were monitored overnight following the sightings.

The US Air Forces in Europe spokesperson said, “I can confirm the situation is ongoing, and our units continue to monitor the airspace and are working with host-nation authorities and mission partners to ensure the safety of base personnel, facilities, and assets.”

The spokesperson did not disclose details on specific security measures but added, “We retain the right to protect our installations.”

This marks the second instance in less than a week of unidentified drones being spotted over these bases, with a similar incident occurring between Wednesday and Friday last week.

In addition, a Russian intelligence vessel, the Yantar, was escorted out of Irish waters by the Irish Defense Forces on November 17.
