Russians have exported more than 180,000 tons of stolen Ukrainian grain through the port of Mariupol this year, according to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on October 8.

“Russia continues to use food as a tool of aggression. This year alone, the enemy shipped over 180,000 tons of stolen Ukrainian grain through the port of Mariupol,” Shmyhal said.

He added that Russia is looting the temporarily occupied territories to fund its war of aggression.

“Undoubtedly, Russian economic terror will be one of the key focuses in the work of the special tribunal addressing Russia’s crimes against Ukraine,” he concluded.

Last week, it was reported that Russia had transported 8,000 tons of stolen Ukrainian grain through Mariupol, pushing total losses to more than $810 million.
