Russia Launches Drones Designed to Detonate on Impact, Says Ukraine’s Emergency Services

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) issued a warning on February 3 about Russian-launched drones that are designed to target civilians and detonate upon contact.

In its Telegram post, the SES urged citizens not to approach or touch any suspicious objects resembling drones and to immediately report them by calling emergency services.

The SES also advised informing children about the potential danger to prevent accidents.

On February 4, A Russian ballistic missile strike on Izium killed five people and injured 20, with five hospitalized, according to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
