Ukraine's Palianytsia Rocket-Drone Targets Crimea for the First Time

Ukrainian defense forces used the long-range rocket drone "Palianytsia" for the first time against a military target in the temporarily Russian-occupied Crimean Peninsula in August this year.

"On Independence Day, President Zelenskyy announced to the world that Ukraine had used its new rocket drone, 'Palianytsia,' for the first time. There was a lot of curiosity about what this drone had targeted.

We can confirm that the drone was used in one of the attacks on the Crimean Peninsula in August. While we cannot specify the exact target of the drone, we know it was part of a complex operation and that the 'Palianytsia' successfully struck its target,” journalist Roman Romanyuk reported.

On August 24, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainian forces had for the first time struck the Russian army with the new weapon—a rocket drone named 'Palianytsia.'
