A Russian drone strike on Dnipro injured seven people after hitting a 14-story residential building and setting its upper floors on fire, according to various Ukrainian media and local officials reports.
The attack damaged the city’s apartment block during a wider Russian drone strike, leaving destruction across the building’s upper section.
Ukrainian Pravda reported that walls, balconies, windows, and the building’s technical floor were damaged in the impact.

Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, revised the casualty toll and noted that seven people were wounded in the attack.
Seven people were injured, with four hospitalized, including two in serious condition and two in moderate condition, while the others are receiving outpatient treatment.
“Because of the Russian strike, walls, balconies, windows, and the technical floor were damaged in the Dnipro high-rise building. Fires broke out on the top two floors,” Hanzha stated, according to the outlet.
Emergency crews were deployed to the scene, while Hanzha noted that the attack on the city was still ongoing at the time of the report.

The attack also coincided with another Russian drone strike in the same region, this time on Kryvyi Rih.
A recent strike on Kryvyi Rih left two men, aged 31 and 58, hospitalized in moderate condition after Russian drones hit the city and damaged infrastructure.
Local officials reported the attack also sparked a fire that was later extinguished as emergency crews worked at the scene.
Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, reported that the city came under a large-scale overnight and morning assault involving Shahed drones. He added that 19 drones were downed over the Dnipropetrovsk region, though several strikes still got through.
