According to the report, the victims, aged between 17 and 64, sustained various injuries. The teenager was treated on-site by an ambulance, while the other victims were transported to the hospital. Most of the injured suffered from blast injuries, concussions, and shrapnel wounds.
One of the victims, a 66-year-old woman, is in critical condition, with an explosive injury, concussion, injuries to her arms and legs, and an open fracture of the lower leg. Additionally, a 60-year-old woman from Kherson sustained a closed head injury.
The head of the Kherson Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, stated that the minibus was deliberately targeted.
“They (the Russians) knew exactly who they were aiming at and deliberately carried out the strike,” he said.

In a similar incident, on February 11, Russian forces struck a vehicle belonging to Serhii Nikorych, the acting head of the village of Oskil, as he was delivering bread to residents in the Pisko-Radkivka district in Kharkiv region.
The vehicle was completely destroyed in the strike. “The vehicle burned to the ground. Fortunately, Serhii Mykolaiovych survived but was injured,” the statement said.
Oleksandr Tertyshnyi, head of the Borova rural military administration, emphasized that Nikorych had been the sole connection to essential services for civilians living on the left bank of the Oskil River.
“He was driving his van when an enemy drone struck it at the crossing. The vehicle burned completely. He is now in the hospital with a head injury, likely a blast injury. He regularly collected mail for people, transported parcels and money, and delivered pensions, because almost nothing reaches the left bank,” Tertyshnyi explained.

The Association of Frontline Cities and Communities described the attack as a deliberate war crime by Russia against Ukrainian civilians, underscoring the growing number of targeted strikes against those providing essential services in the region.
In another development, Russian forces attacked a humanitarian mission in the Kherson region, targeting United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs trucks.
The strike occurred in the Bilozerka community, where the vehicles, clearly marked with UN insignia, came under fire from drones and artillery.
“Russia once again showed its true, repulsive face by attacking a humanitarian mission,” Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, stated. “Four white vehicles with markings were not military equipment—they were carrying aid for civilians.”
