“Russian occupiers continue to terrorize the peaceful population. The enemy attacked a minibus carrying passengers. Preliminary reports indicate that five people were injured. One person died at the scene,” Shanko stated.

He added that two of the injured were taken to the hospital following the attack by Russian forces on the minibus. The men were diagnosed with mine-explosive trauma, and their condition is still under further examination.

Later, the Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration updated that the bus driver was, according to preliminary information, among those killed in the attack. Authorities are currently working to identify the driver.

This is not the first time Russia has attacked civilian vehicles. On January 22, Russian forces launched FPV drone strikes on Kozacha Lopania and Ruska Lozova, resulting in two local deaths and one injury.

Vyacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Derhachi City Military Administration, reported the attacks. At the entrance to Kozacha Lopania, the Russian forces targeted a civilian car carrying two local volunteers who were delivering bread to residents still living in the settlement. The vehicle was completely destroyed, and the two men, aged 35 and 63, died at the scene from their injuries.

Around the same time, another attack took place in Ruska Lozova. A civilian vehicle traveling through the area was targeted, but fortunately, the two men inside managed to escape before the strike. One of them, a 70-year-old local, later sought medical attention, though his injuries were not life-threatening.

Earlier, Russian forces violated their declared "Easter truce" by targeting a humanitarian evacuation vehicle near Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region with FPV drones.

The vehicle, belonging to the “Proliska” humanitarian mission, was struck, leaving several individuals injured.
