A drone strike has reportedly hit a Russian military tent camp at a training site in Russia’s Rostov region, causing significant damage. The attack took place near the city of Novocherkassk, roughly 200 kilometers from the current front line, according to the Telegram channel UAF Geolocate, which released footage capturing the aftermath.

The incident occurred in the early hours of November 3, while many soldiers were resting in their tents. The tents were reportedly occupied by personnel of the 102nd Motor Rifle Brigade, part of the 150th Guards Motorized Rifle Division. Images and videos show several tents in flames, with indications that the drone’s payload was designed to target personnel on the ground.

Currently, the party responsible for the strike cannot be independently verified or confirmed.

Over recent months, Ukraine’s defense forces have increasingly focused on strikes against Russian military sites both within occupied territories and inside Russia’s borders. Often, these operations utilize drones to identify and guide artillery to their targets, effectively disrupting Russian training and deployment sites.

In past instances, Ukrainian forces have targeted locations with reported high concentrations of Russian troops under air defense and electronic warfare coverage. Notably, a similar operation in September targeted a training camp near Donetsk, approximately 25 kilometers from the front line, resulting in significant structural damage.
