Russian forces struck transport infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih district in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, killing one man and injuring seven people, including two children, according to Radio Free Europe on March 2.

Dnipropetrovsk regional administration head Oleksandr Hanzha stated that a 10-year-old girl was among those wounded and would be treated as an outpatient, while others were hospitalized, and a fire broke out at the site.

He added that a man injured in the attack died in hospital, and that five wounded people remained hospitalized in what doctors assessed as a moderate condition, with the injured also including a 17-year-old boy.

Russian forces regularly attack Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure with drones, missiles, guided bombs, and rocket artillery, while Moscow denies deliberately targeting civilians, Ukrainian authorities and international organizations have said.

Earlier, it was reported that a massive overnight Russian strike damaged non-military infrastructure in multiple regions, with officials also saying infrastructure in the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts was hit.
