On the night of February 10, at around 11:30 p.m., a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle, preliminarily identified as a Geran-2, hit a private residence in the city of Bohodukhiv, according to regional governor Oleh Syniehubov and the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

The attack killed a 34-year-old father and his three small children — two one-year-old boys and a two-year-old girl. A 74-year-old woman was injured in the strike. Emergency responders pulled the children’s 35-year-old pregnant mother from the rubble. She sustained blast injuries, a traumatic brain injury, and burns.

Authorities said the family had fled the nearby town of Zolochiv only days earlier, seeking safety in Bohodukhiv.
