Russian Strike on Sumy Kills Four, Injures 16 Civilians, Including Teen

As a result of a Russian strike on the center of Sumy on June 3, four people were killed and 16 civilians injured.
This was reported by Sumy Regional Military Administration on June 3.
“Among the injured is a 17-year-old child. Several others are in serious condition,” the administration stated.
According to the administration, the injured are being transported to medical facilities across the regional center.

Following the strike a medical facility, several civilian vehicles and residential buildings were destroyed by Russian forces shelled the city using multiple launch rocket systems. Five impacts were recorded. Emergency services are operating at the scene.
Earlier, Ukrainian authorities had ordered the mandatory evacuation of residents from 11 more settlements in the Sumy region amid the continued threat to civilian lives posed by ongoing Russian shelling.
The affected villages include Horobivka, Shtanivka, Voronivka, Yanchenky, Tsymbalivka, Shkurativka, Krovne, Mykolaivka, Rudnivka, Spaske, and Kapytanivka.
