Russian Strikes in Kharkiv Region Kill a Teenager and Injure 10 Others

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported a missile strike on the town of Berestyn, which resulted in 9 casualties, including a 16-year-old boy. A 17-year-old girl later died from the injuries sustained in the attack, while 7 others were hospitalized with blast injuries and 2 suffered acute stress reactions, Syniehubov wrote in a Telegram post on November 17.
In total, 5 settlements in the Kharkiv region were hit in the last 24 hours, leaving 11 people injured, including a child. One child also died. Russia used various weapons, including 4 missiles, 6 Shahed-2 drones, and 16 other UAVs.

The strikes caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings, administrative structures, power grids, and railways. An evacuation point in Lozova received 52 people, and a total of 12,568 individuals have been registered since its opening, according to Oleh Syniehubov.
Previously, it was reported that Russian drones have destroyed another large warehouse storing medicines for one of Ukraine’s biggest pharmaceutical distributors in an overnight strike on the city of Dnipro, according to Ekonomichna Pravda.
One of the country’s largest pharmaceutical distributors, Optima-Pharm, lost a warehouse in Dnipro when Russian forces attacked the city with drones, damaging industrial facilities, warehouses, production sites, and cars, the Dnipropetrovsk regional prosecutor’s office said.
