Russian Strikes Kill Four, Injure Ten in Kharkiv Region as Drones and Missiles Hit Civilian Areas

On the early hours of January 13, Russian forces struck the city of Kharkiv and eight settlements across the Kharkiv region, killing four people and injuring 10 others, according to the Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov.
“In the settlement of Novyi Korotych in the Pisochyn community, four men were killed, with their identities still being established, and six men aged 29, 39, 40, 42, 43, and 58 were injured. In the city of Bohodukhiv, two women aged 34 and 56 were wounded. In the village of Novoosynove in the Kurylivka community, a 74-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man were injured,” Syniehubov wrote.

The strikes damaged and destroyed civilian infrastructure across multiple districts. In Kharkiv, a children’s sanatorium and a vehicle were damaged.
“In the Bohodukhiv district, a private house and power lines were damaged in the village of Ivashky, a State Emergency Service vehicle was damaged in the village of Maiak, and three private houses were damaged,” the Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration added.


In the Kupiansk district, a private house was damaged in the village of Novoosynove, while in the Izium district a private house was damaged.
Additionlly, the attacks damaged a post terminal, a gas station, and vehicles, and two private houses.

Syniehubov also said Russian forces employed a wide range of weapons across the region, including two missiles of an unspecified type, one guided aerial bomb, 34 Geran-2 attack drones, two Molniya-type drones, one FPV drone, and two additional drones of an undetermined type.
Earlier, a Russian drone hit an ambulance in the town of Semenivka in Ukraine’s Chernihiv region while medics were returning from a call, injuring two paramedics who were later hospitalized.
