Russian drones struck several Ukrainian cities overnight, setting off fires in Odesa and causing deaths and injuries in the Zaporizhzhia region. At the same time, shelling and drone attacks were also reported in the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to multiple Ukrainian officials and local media on January 29.

Ukraine’s state emergency service said the Odesa attack triggered a fire at an industrial site, with warehouse and production buildings burning and freight trucks damaged, and that there were no casualties.

The agency said firefighters had extinguished all blazes.
