A Russian tank was destroyed in Donetsk region as a result of a sabotage operation carried out by a member of the Ukrainian partisan movement ATESH.
According to a report published by ATESH on its official Telegram channel on April 13, the incident took place on the Donetsk axis and was executed by an undercover agent embedded within a unit of Russia’s “Center” military grouping.

The agent reportedly initiated the operation while Russian troops were repairing the tank and installing additional protection, commonly referred to as a “mangal” — a makeshift cage structure mounted to counter drone attacks.
ATESH stated that the sabotage was timed during an informal gathering by Russian mechanics in the evening. The troops were allegedly consuming alcohol at the time, which reduced their alertness and allowed the agent to set the tank on fire. The resulting blaze caused significant damage to the equipment.
Following the operation, the agent successfully withdrew from the area and has since relocated to another sector, where preparations for future actions are underway.
ATESH continues to operate across temporarily occupied territories, conducting reconnaissance and targeting Russian military positions.
Earlier, agents of the ATESH movement destroyed a railway transformer cabinet near Kemerovo, disrupting logistics to several military facilities, including an ammunition plant. The group stated the operation caused delays in deliveries and is part of a broader campaign targeting Russian rail infrastructure.
