Russian Troops Reportedly Encircled in Kursk Region, Russia
Part of the Russian troops are believed to be encircled in Russia’s Kursk region.
This is being reported by the Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation Andrii Kovalenko.
On the morning of August 19, Russian sources stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the third and final bridge across the Seim River in the Glushkovsky District of the Kursk region.
Ukraine officially announced carrying out an operation in the Kursk region on August 12. On August 20, Syrskyi confirmed Ukraine’s control of more than 1,260 km² of territory and 93 settlements in the Kursk region.
