During Russia’s overnight strike on Ukraine, one of the drones crossed into Moldova’s airspace and crashed into a house in the town of Cuhureștii de Jos, according to Moldovan police on Facebook on November 25.

“A few minutes ago, in the garden of a house in the town of Cuhureștii de Jos, Florești district, a drone fell onto the guard’s home,” the Moldovan police wrote.

A bomb disposal and technical team has been dispatched to the scene. Residents of nearby houses have been evacuated, and police have cordoned off the area.

According to News Maker, Moldova’s Ministry of Defense reported that a total of six drones violated the country’s airspace.

“As a result of the massive attack on Ukraine during the night from Monday to Tuesday, airspace monitoring systems operated by the National Army detected six drones illegally crossing the national airspace on the morning of November 25, 2025,” the statement said.

The first aircraft was detected heading toward the areas of Vynohradivka–Vulcănești before continuing toward the Romanian border, in the region between Colibaș (Cahul district) and Vadul lui Isac. The drone crossed the airspace at an altitude of roughly 1,500 meters.

Earlier, Russia struck Kyiv in the early hours of November 25 with a coordinated mix of Kalibr cruise missiles, Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, and Shahed drones, setting several apartment buildings on fire and killing at least six people while injuring 13 others, including children.
