Slovenia Donates High-Tech Demining Vehicles to Ukraine’s Emergency Service
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) received vital technical support from the Republic of Slovenia, including three Kozak PM-L demining vehicles, SES press service reported on January 23.
The donation was facilitated by the UNITED24 platform with financial backing from the Slovenian government.
These advanced high-mobility vehicles are designed for transporting specialized equipment, conducting demining operations, and safely carrying small explosive devices to disposal sites.
The official handover ceremony included SES leadership, Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tanja Fajon, Slovenian Ambassador to Ukraine Mateja Prevolšek, and representatives from Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy and UNITED24.
Andrii Danik, head of the SES, expressed profound gratitude to the people and government of Slovenia.
“These modern Kozak PM-L vehicles will enhance the mobility and safety of our experts during demining operations,” said Danik.
“This will significantly reduce risks to the lives of our bomb disposal teams and make the process of neutralizing explosives faster and more reliable. We are grateful for your support, which enables us to work more effectively even amidst war. This assistance is a substantial contribution to ensuring public safety and rebuilding Ukraine.”
Earlier, two brigades of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces—the 81st Airmobile Brigade and the 71st Separate Jaeger Brigade— received Pulstron reconnaissance and strike systems as part of the Eye for an Eye 3 project, a joint initiative by the Come Back Alive Foundation and the OKKO gas station network.
